RYA Power Boat Training

RYA Powerboat Level 1 and 2 (2 days)

This is an intensive two-day course, which develops the skills to handle a power vessel at speed and to manoeuvre it at close quarters. The course includes basic navigation & pilotage. All candidates must be 16 years or over, unless accompanied by an adult.

RYA Powerboat Intermediate Course (2 Days)

The aim of this course is to improve boat handling and to learn the skills necessary to undertake short passages by day. The course includes navigation & pilotage, fuel & engine checks, as well as boat handling in rough weather.
All candidates must be 16 years or over, unless accompanied by an adult.
£245 per person

RYA Powerboat Advanced (2 Days including a night exercise-October-March)

The aim of this course is to improve boat all weather handling and to develop the skills required to undertake long distance passages by day and night. Special attention is paid to high-speed navigation at night. All candidates must be 18 years or over and hold their short range VHF qualification.
N.B. It is recommended that candidates have navigation knowledge at least to RYA Day Skipper standard.
